Mad Dog

Mad Dog is a whimsical look at “man’s best friend,” from being chained up to being kept in the doghouse. The doghouse-shaped book is made of wire mesh and decorated with metal tape, found objects, the lid from a dog food can, squeaky dog toys, googly eyes and plastic dog tags. One side of each of the mesh pages has a “Beware of Dog” sign attached to it with thin wire. Metal nuts threaded with leather laces were used to sew the pages together. The title of the book, along with the publication date, is etched into a dog tag shaped like a bone and attached to the book spine with a metal loop.
