The Order of Things

The Order of Things is a collection of new and previously published work from photographer Norbert Schoerner, one of the most proficient and talented fashion photographers. Published as a mass-market book by Phaidon Press, the innovative circular binding allows the heavy board pages to fan out in a circle, creating a continuous flow of images, suggesting that there really is no order to things.

Readers are invited to start and stop within the book wherever they choose, and to return again to view the book from a different starting point. The circular structure does not allow the book to lie flat, which creates an additional problem for the reader to consider and solve.
