Envy

This one-of-a-kind book starkly illustrates the terrible feelings provoked by the emotion of envy. The piece is inkjet printed on vellum with green decorative paper and bound by hand in green-and-black handmade paper decorated with black raffia and plastic eyes. The gate-fold structure is enclosed in board covers that were painted silver on the inside of the back section. Photographic images of a woman’s eye and hand are repeated throughout the text.
