Book Art Collection

The Cerritos Library features a special collection of book art titled “Art of the Book: the Book as Art.” Book art uses the structure or function of “book” as inspiration—a work of art in book form. The library’s collection showcases books that are beautifully designed and produced and challenge traditional ideas about the architecture of book design. The collection includes one-of-a-kind items and the scope of artists is international. Works from the collection are continually displayed throughout the library.
